Description: The Yorkillon is a designer dog breed that comes from crossing the Papillon and Yorkshire Terrier or Yorkie breeds together.

Temperament: As with any designer breed you must take into consideration the parents personalities as well as the socialization of the puppy or dog in question. As a general rule the Yorkillon are good with children and tend to get along well with other dogs.

Height, Weight: The height and weight of the Yorkillon dog will depend on the size of the parents as well as the current size of the Yorkillon puppy. As a general rule you can expect the full grown adult weight to be 3 to 9 lbs.

Health Problems: Designer or Hybrid dogs tend to have less health problems than many of the full blood breeds but again the parents genetics will play a big part in the health and longivity of the Yorkillon dog. Of course the usual health problems related to the Papillon and Yorkshire Terrier can show up in the Yorkillon.

Living Condition: In general you can expect a Yorkillon dog to do well in just about any size apartment or home.

Exercise Required: Daily exercise is suggested. Whether that means running around the house or taking your Yorkillon for long walks.

Life Expectancy: 12-15 years on average

Litter Size: 2-4 puppies per litter on average

Grooming: Tend to have a medium length coat which can be groomed as you wish.The puppy cut is an option or you can let it grow. Letting the coat grow would require brushing at least every other day or more.
